Fundraising Goals
Floak was set up in February 2009 to assist fundraising for charitable projects. Through volunteering of people's TIME, we're aiming to bring together our online community of friends and associates to join forces and help us support a number of innovative projects and existing charities throughout the UK and worldwide.

Our opening project is the funding of land in Kafountine, Senegal (West Africa), to extend an existing school's adult education facilities.
Kafountine is a beachfront town located in the southern region of the country approximately 75km from The Gambia. Education is scarce and although many of the children are now receiving part-time schooling, a large percentage of adults in the region missed out on any form of learning with reading and writing skills limited amongst parents. Floak is joining our friends from Barcelona who have commenced the project and constructed the main school building within its grounds.
