your choice. We have selected five fantastic charities that we believe are excellent recipients of our £15,000 fundraising target. Take a look at each charity's mission statements and click on the relevant links to make your donation.
The FHA provide holidays and weekend breaks for disadvantaged families. Over two million children live in families that cannot afford a day trip to the seaside and we hope that our donations can provide memorable experiences for those less fortunate than ourselves.

Alzheimer's Society is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Many of their 25,000 members have personal experience of dementia, as carers, health professionals or people with dementia themselves, and their experiences help to inform their research work.

Noma (cancrum oris) is an acute and ravaging gangrenous infection affecting the face. The victims of Noma are mainly children under the age of 6, caught in a vicious circle of extreme poverty and chronic malnutrition. Facing Africa provides funds for the visits of teams of voluntary surgeons from the UK, Germany and Holland to Nigeria and Ethiopia to perform facial reconstruction surgery on the victims of the disease noma, and the aquisition of related equipment for hospitals in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and Sokoto (Nigeria).

Everyman's mission is to cross out male cancer. They achieve this by making everyone recognise the tell-tale signs, and understand the importance of treating them. By increasing this awareness they also hope to raise money to fund life-saving research.

FLOAK was set up in February 2009 to raise money for a selection of charities. Through volunteering of people's TIME, we're aiming to bring together our online community of friends and associates to join forces and help us support a number of innovative projects and existing charities throughout the UK and worldwide.
Our primary aim is the funding of land in Kafountine, Senegal (West Africa) to extend an existing school's adult education facilities. We are currently in the process of securing the land and building is expected to commence as soon as we hit our first target of £5,000.
